Care Physio
A WhatsApp-first website for a physiotherapy clinic in Bandung: five languages, guides that cite their evidence, and analytics that waits for consent.
The problem. The clinic's previous site was an unfinished template: a shop where the services should be, placeholder text, no page title, no WhatsApp, English only. The new one had to explain each service and lead to a booking on WhatsApp.

Problem
Care Physio is a private physiotherapy clinic at Paskal 23 in Bandung, opened in October 2025. It sees children and adults, for children’s physiotherapy, orthopaedic physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Its previous website was an unfinished template:
- a shop where the service pages should have been;
- placeholder text, an empty page title and no h1;
- no WhatsApp;
- English only.
The clinic’s opening hours were not posted anywhere public. Three aims were agreed at the start: booking through WhatsApp, enquiries, and credibility.
Thinking
- Assessment first. Treatment at the clinic starts with an assessment, so the site has no price list. Prices appear only as a starting point, and the assistant never quotes a figure.
- Guides that show their evidence. Every guide cites its sources, and where the evidence goes against a service the clinic offers, the guide says so.
- No testimonials, no stars. Following Indonesia’s regulation on the advertising of health services (Permenkes 1787/2010), the site carries no testimonials and no star-rating markup.
- One WhatsApp button per page. Booking happens on WhatsApp, so each page offers one way to start it. A contact form with nothing behind it became a checklist of what to write in the message.
- Analytics waits for consent. A visitor who does not accept is not counted.
- Indonesian first. The copy was written in Indonesian, then in English, and the Indonesian was proofread by a native speaker. The Japanese, Chinese and Korean versions were translated from the English by AI and audited language by language.
Surface
Cream and teal pages with an editorial layout. The home page leads with “Care That Moves You Forward”, a short paragraph on what the clinic treats, and one green button: Booking via WhatsApp. Around it:
- an interactive body map that asks “Where does it hurt?”;
- cards for different kinds of visitor, each leading to a guide;
- diagrams, 29 guides in each language, and a blog;
- a location page with walking distances that were measured, and photos in the order a visitor meets them on arrival;
- the clinic’s founding story as a video, with the subtitles burned in;
- a “Tanya kami” (“Ask us”) button that opens an AI assistant.
Structure
Service architecture
A services hub leads to five service pages. Two pages explain the clinic’s methods, one gives starting prices, one is the location page, and the guides and the blog sit beside them. Each service page carries Service and BreadcrumbList structured data.
Five languages
The site is static, built with Astro. Indonesian sits at the root and the other four languages under their own prefixes. Each page names its versions in other languages with hreflang, plus an x-default. Every address in the sitemap carries a last-modified date, which changes only when a page’s title, description or main content changes.
Local search
- The home page’s structured data gives the clinic’s address, map coordinates and a booking action (ReserveAction); guides are marked up as MedicalWebPage with an FAQPage.
- The opening hours, posted nowhere before, are now on the page and in the structured data.
- The clinic’s existing Google Business Profile was completed and its map pin corrected.
- Search Console, Bing and IndexNow, and internal links between the pages.
Consent-first analytics
There is no third-party script in the HTML; analytics loads only after the visitor accepts. The assistant runs on a separate backend, with limits per visitor and knowledge generated from the guides.
The record
Work began in June 2026 and the site went live on 9 July. The guide library followed on 31 July, a translation audit on 1 August and the rebuilt location page on 8 August; since 10 September the work has been maintenance. No ranking is claimed; the lab speed figure below is ours, not a visitor’s.
Every figure with the date and the instrument that produced it. Where there is no figure, the record says why.

Search presence
This project in the four outcomes of Search Presence Engineering: what was built for each, and what was measured. Every figure is one of the results below, with its date and instrument.
- Found Technical foundation Can the page be found and read?
-
Static pages in five languages, each naming its other versions with hreflang; a sitemap with a last-modified date for every address; one canonical address that the bare domain and plain http redirect to. Search Console, Bing and IndexNow are set up.
- Addresses in the sitemap: 282 . A plain request for the sitemap with curl, counted by us: 64 each in Indonesian, English and Japanese, 45 each in Chinese and Korean, every entry with a last-modified date.
- Search visibility: Not published. Search Console and Bing are set up; their figures belong to the clinic and are not published here.
- Understood Relevance Does it answer the customer’s question?
-
In Indonesian first, then English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean: a body map that asks “Where does it hurt?”, a page for each of the five services, and 29 guides in each language.
- Languages and hreflang links: 5 languages · 6 links . A plain request with curl: the home page is declared Indonesian and links its versions in id, en, ja, zh-CN and ko, plus x-default.
- Trusted Authority Can the business and its claims be verified?
-
The clinic's address, map coordinates and opening hours are in its structured data, and its Google Business Profile was completed and its map pin corrected. Every guide cites its sources, and says so where the evidence goes against a service the clinic offers.
- Chosen The next step Is there a clear way to act, wherever they start?
-
Booking starts on WhatsApp: one button on every page, and a checklist of what to write in the message. The opening hours are published, the location page gives measured walking distances and photos in the order a visitor arrives, and the home page's structured data carries a booking action.
- Bookings: Not measured. Bookings are made in the clinic's own WhatsApp, and that record is the clinic's. TULUS has not counted them.
Measured
282 addresses in the sitemap and the five language versions (counted 1 October 2026), the home page's load (30 September 2026) and a lab speed run (29 August 2026).
| What | Result | When and how |
|---|---|---|
| First load of the home page, desk | 14 requests · 500 kB | . Headless Chromium with an empty cache at 1440 × 900, bytes on the wire, measured from Bandung. |
| Third-party requests, home page | 0 | . The same load: none of the 14 requests goes to a third party. |
| Home page speed, lab | LCP 740 ms · CLS 0.014 | . Playwright with throttled 4G and a CPU slowed four times, run by us: largest contentful paint and cumulative layout shift. A lab figure: it says the page can be fast, not that every visit is. |
| Addresses in the sitemap | 282 | . A plain request for the sitemap with curl, counted by us: 64 each in Indonesian, English and Japanese, 45 each in Chinese and Korean, every entry with a last-modified date. |
| Languages and hreflang links | 5 languages · 6 links | . A plain request with curl: the home page is declared Indonesian and links its versions in id, en, ja, zh-CN and ko, plus x-default. |
Not published
| What | Result | When and how |

| Search visibility | Not published. | Search Console and Bing are set up; their figures belong to the clinic and are not published here. |
Not measured
| What | Result | When and how |
|---|---|---|
| Speed for real visitors | Not measured. | There is no field data for the site yet. |
| Bookings | Not measured. | Bookings are made in the clinic's own WhatsApp, and that record is the clinic's. TULUS has not counted them. |
What improved
What the site has that the template site did not: a WhatsApp booking button on every page, five languages, the opening hours published, and a completed Business Profile. TULUS has not measured whether bookings rose; the bookings are the clinic's record.
